Today was my first day at Cobra Puma Golf. I got a tour of the facilities and signed paper work with HR. I saw the IT department, accounting, and their Research and Development. What struck me about Cobra Puma Golf was that there were tons of golf clubs that were distributed throughout the R&D department. Everyone had access to golf clubs so that they could compare their products. I liked how my colleagues were friendly and open for any questions. I was told that I was overdressed, even though I wore a button-downed shirt and khakis. Most people were dressed in jeans and collared Puma shirts. Everyone knew each other and collaborated with each other occasionally. What I liked the most about the job that I am doing is that the atmosphere is laid back, but you can tell that everyone knows that they have work to do. I am excited to be able work with the people around me, understand the marketing reports, and being able to analyze different companies. I am worried that I won't be able to express myself well enough to other people. In the next couple of days, my mentor and I will be going over my responsibilities. I am worried that I might have a lot of work that I won't be able to finish in the time I have my internship.
